Esol Education is led by educators with deep roots in international schooling. Founder and Chairman Mr. Walid Abushakra began his career as a mathematics and physics teacher in Lebanon before moving into school leadership and establishing the first Esol school in 1976. Since then, Esol has been shaped by the same enduring convictions: that excellent schools are built on strong teaching, thoughtful leadership, and a deep commitment to the whole child. That foundation continues to guide Esol Education's approach to high-quality international K-12 education across its network of schools.
